Sori is a family of seating designed around a single constraint: one material thickness throughout. The chair and stool share identical legs and seat — the only distinction between them is the addition of a backrest. Nothing more.
The construction is deliberately straightforward. No part is more complex than it needs to be, and nothing is wasted. The result is a quietly considered object — minimal without being cold, elegant without trying.
Sori was developed for a group of ramen restaurants across Germany, where consistency of production and ease of replication were as important as the design itself.
